Job Summary
Electrician position at Bunge in Channahon, IL. Responsible for installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical equipment and machines in the plant facility; ensure proper functioning of all electrical units; perform scheduled checks to spot malfunctions; handle electrical testing and repair equipment; place orders for spare parts; maintain logs of repair and maintenance; coordinate with co-workers and other departments; follow safety norms and standard operating procedures; apply knowledge of PLC programs/troubleshooting and use CMMS for parts inventory; participate in job training; contribute to food safety and quality through adherence to Quality Systems; union hourly role with a 12-hour shift and weekend/holiday scheduling as required. Minimum qualifications include prior experience or certification as a maintenance electrician and high school diploma or GED preferred; ability to lift at least 50 lbs; preferred skills include strong communication, problem identification, tool handling, time management, organization, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and SAP experience.

- Has good organizational skills and detailed oriented
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- SAP experience a plus
- Must be able to communicate effectively across all disciplines within the organization while functioning as a team player with other departments
- Good oral and written communication skills
