Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program
• •Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician
• •Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• •Proficient with electrical tools and equipment
• •Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• •Excellent communication and customer service skills
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• •Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• •Ability to stand and walk for long durations, which could exceed 8 hours in a day
• •Ability to use hands and fingers to control, handle and feel objects
• •Ability to see details of objects from a distance
• •Ability to enter confined spaces
• •Ability to climb stairs and walk on uneven terrain
• •Ability to squat, crawl, and bend
• •Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds when necessary
• •Frequent exposure to weather including hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions
• •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• •Ability to write simple correspondence
• •Ability to effectively present information
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to interpret and manipulate simple computer software programs
• •Ability to add and subtract two-digit number and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
• •Ability to perform these operations using unity of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions
• •Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• •May be required to travel up to 50% of the time
• •May be required to work weekends

• •May be required to work overtime
