Job Summary

Install, wire, and upgrade electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities by running, bending, and securing conduit while pulling wiring and performing precise terminations. Interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and schematics to guide project execution and troubleshooting for systems ranging from 24 V DC to 480 V AC. Safely operate scissor, boom, and bucket lifts for overhead installations and maintain tools and inventory essential for panel work. Travel to manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and process facilities per a rolling project calendar, ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation and complete other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience as an electrician
  • Ability to run/bend conduit, pull and terminate wire in multiple scenarios
  • Must have industrial/manufacturing background in electrical systems and experience with voltages ranging from 24v DC to 480v AC
  • Must be able to read blueprints; one lines and schematics
  • Must be able to perform multiple aspects of the trade, anything from small pipe and wire projects all the way to generator and UPS installs
  • Proficient understanding of PLC I/O wiring standards and electrical schematics
  • Demonstrated success executing time-critical upgrades during scheduled shutdowns
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Willingness to drive to project sites throughout the United States
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lb (boxed VFD, tool bag)
  • Push/pull up to 70 lb
  • Stand and walk on hard surfaces
  • Climb industrial stairs & ladders periodically
  • Kneel, squat, or lie prone inside control enclosures
  • Reach overhead and shoulder-height to route conduit and wire
  • Occasional team lift up to 100 lb
  • Color vision sufficient to differentiate wire markers and resistor bands
  • Near vision at 12 in for fine print on UL 508A legends
  • Auditory acuity to discern machinery start-up alarms and radio calls
  • Work in varying temps ranging from 35 F – 110 F and humidities of 0–90 %
  • Occasional exposure to <85 dBA noise
  • Sit in vehicle and travel by plane as needed
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex work instructions, correspondences, and memos
  • Ability to write correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Proficiency with tablets/laptops for documentation, remote meetings, and time entry
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit number and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to perform these operations using unity of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to read a ruler to 1/16"
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
