Job Summary
Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems while reading diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Maintain and repair wiring, conductive elements, and electrical components in buildings, and test and inspect electrical infrastructure. Identify and mitigate safety hazards, code violations, and nonconformance issues, then enter data into the Computerized Maintenance Management System. This full-time role requires a US citizen with a Journeyman or Master Electrician license, experience with switchgear and medium voltage, and OSHA-compliant training. Located in Arlington, VA, the position offers competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, and occasional on-call support.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen and eligibility to obtain and maintain clearance
- ability to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment
- Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license
- Experience with the service/operation of Switchgear, UPS, and medium voltage
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lock-out/tag-out training in accordance with OSHA standards
- PPE training in accordance with OSHA standards
- arc-flash training in accordance with OSHA standards
- On-call support availability on an occasional basis
