Job Summary
Perform planned electrical maintenance on thermoforming and extrusion equipment, including troubleshooting, set-up, and preventive maintenance on automation systems. Diagnose and repair machinery such as trim presses, extruders, and conveyors, while modifying existing equipment for performance upgrades. Complete daily maintenance connections, ensure area safety and housekeeping, and accurately document all work. Requires own tools, ability to work across all production areas, and flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3 + years automation technician experience within the manufacturing industry, or related experience
- Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems
- Must be knowledgeable in hydraulics
- Must be knowledgeable in pneumatics
- Must be able to read blue prints (mechanical/electrical)
- Must have welding experience
- Must have fabrication experience
- Must have previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
- Must have previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
- Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
- Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
- Flexibility to work overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PLCs is preferred
