Job Summary
Plan, layout, install, and repair wiring, conduit, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. Prepare sketches showing wiring locations or follow diagrams to ensure concealed wiring is installed before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit; pull wiring through conduit; splice wires and apply tape or terminal caps. Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment; connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads. Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems. Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels. Load, transport, and unload material, tools, equipment, and supplies. Available for day or night shift work in Clarkdale, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- Must be available to work day or night shift
- Be registered or get registered as an electrical apprentice
- Work at heights without fear
- Knowledge of LOTO procedures
- Be able to distinguish colors
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules
- Capable of listening and communicating with other supervision and employees
- Be motivated and work safely and productively
- Use effective verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical discipline
- Locals from the state of Arizona preferred and will receive first preference
