Job Summary
Test electrical and mechanical circuits for efficiency while reading blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams. Install, test, and commission electric heat tracing systems, maintaining and repairing electrical components in industrial facilities. Follow Texas and US government codes, unload delivery trucks, and assist with cable pulls, conduit running, and cable tray erection. Maintain orderly in-field stock and deliver materials precisely to workstations. Available for schooling and training; must possess an electrical license, NCCER certification or equivalent experience, and a TWIC card. Proficient in SCADA, PLC, and control automation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school and or trade school
- Electrical License
- NCCER certification/or equivalent work experience
- TWIC card
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English
- Ability to perform work in industrial facilities in extreme ambient conditions including climbing staircases, or ladders
- Must put safety above all
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial Construction Experience in a fast-paced business environment
- Industrial experience. SCADA, PLC and Control Automation i.e. Energy Management Controls
- Proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring others successfully
- Professional, Organized and dedicated
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Excellent communication and personal skills
- Must be able to maintain an orderly in-field stock of materials, deliver materials to work stations in a prompt and precise manner, and assist/make cable pulls, running conduit, and erecting cable tray
- Rate will depend on experience and passing electrician test
