Job Summary
Test electrical and mechanical circuits for efficiency while reading blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams. Install, test, and commission electric heat tracing systems, ensuring compliance with Texas and US government codes. Maintain orderly in-field stock of materials, deliver supplies to workstations, and assist with cable pulls, conduit running, and cable tray erection. Perform maintenance and repair of interior and exterior electrical components, including assembling and fixing electrical and mechanical systems. Unload delivery trucks and operate tools independently. Available for schooling and training; must possess an electrical license and NCCER certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school and or trade school
- Electrical License
- NCCER certification/or equivalent work experience
- TWIC card
- Must put safety above all
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English
- Ability to perform work in industrial facilities in extreme ambient conditions including climbing staircases, or ladders
- Must be able to maintain an orderly in-field stock of materials
- Must deliver materials to work stations in a prompt and precise manner
- Must assist/make cable pulls
- Must run conduit
- Must erect cable tray
- Must test electrical and mechanical circuits for efficiency
- Must test, read, operate, maintain, repair electrical and heat trace systems
- Must read and comprehend electrical blue prints, schematics, one-line diagrams
- Must install, test, and commission Electric Heat Tracing
- Must follow electrical codes and regulations set by the State of Texas and the US Gov
- Must be proficient in reading and following directions
- Must be proficient in writing reports
- Must unload delivery trucks
- Must assemble, install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems
- Must perform maintenance and repair of electrical, interior, and exterior electrical components
- Must have your own hand tools
- Must be available for schooling and training
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial Construction Experience in a fast-paced business environment
- Industrial experience. SCADA, PLC and Control Automation i.e. Energy Management Controls
- Proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring others successfully
- Professional, Organized and dedicated
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Excellent communication and personal skills
- Rate will depend on experience
