Job Summary
Assist Journeyperson in all aspects of electrical/control trade, maintaining shop machinery, tools, equipment, and reading/interpreting blueprints. Gain knowledge and experience during the apprentice training period. Upon successful completion of apprenticeship, employee will be classified as a Journeyperson. This is a benefit eligible, union position within the BTC. The starting pay rate is $20.86/hour and depends on apprentice year.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment repair and maintenance
- Valid US driver’s license
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds
