Job Summary
The Master Electrician oversees electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across the facility, leading and coordinating teams of electricians to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality service. Responsibilities include leading electrical installation and maintenance from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry, federal, and DOS standards, inspecting and testing installations, troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and maintaining accurate records and reports. Work is required in both office and field environments with potential overtime and emergency calls; physical work may involve lifting up to 25 pounds and navigating confined spaces and heights.
Required Qualifications
- Secret Clearance required
- 5 years of experience
- High school diploma required
- Master Electrician License
- Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and system operations
