Job Summary
Install, maintain, repair, and test electrical systems including wiring, conduit, motor control centers, and emergency lighting. Perform tasks on work orders for generation, distribution, and utilization of electric energy while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and contract requirements. Complete Work Order feedback, create estimates, and provide standby electrical services for special events. Assist Generator Technician and manage procurement of parts. Operate testing instruments to verify circuit compatibility and safety. Maintain assigned work hours in non-office settings while driving frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Journey/Tradesman State License
- one-year certificate from college or technical school
- minimum five years journeyman level electrician experience
- valid driver's license
- ability to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC)
- proficiency with the English Language
- ability to deal with problems involving several variables in adverse situations
- ability to safely utilize, operate, and maintain hand and power tools common to the electrical trade
- ability to interpret and apply NEC, local codes, blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
- knowledge of operation and installation of a variety of complete electrical systems equipment
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team

- ability to maintain assigned work hours
