Job Summary
Electrician role at a hotel within the Accor network, reporting to the Assistant Director, Engineering. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of accommodation systems, coordination with engineering management, delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance, safe work practices, cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and areas, attendance at daily briefings, reporting disruptions, and adherence to health, safety, and hygiene policies. Requires a High School level education with related technical or trades certification and 2+ years of service technician experience, with proficiency in MV/LV repair, ability to read shop drawings, and strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate, related technical or trades certification
- At least 2 years’ experience as a service technician, preferably in the hospitality or hospital industry
- Proficient in MV/LV repair and maintenance plus basic knowledge of one other building operations skill set
- The ability to use all general repair tools, read shop drawings and specifications, make rough estimates of required materials
- The ability to work independently with good interpersonal skills
- A creative, practical and pro-active approach to problem solving
- An energetic and dynamic personality
