Job Summary
The Electrician A will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including electrical distribution systems, transformers, switch gears, and production equipment. Responsibilities include compliance with the National Electric Code, running and connecting computer cables, testing and troubleshooting electrical utilities, diagnosing and replacing faulty components, and using blueprints and wiring diagrams for projects. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, four years of electrical experience, and preferably hold an electrician’s license. Some familiarity with computer systems is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes
- Ability to read manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety rules
Desired Qualifications
- Some computer skills preferred, MS Office and knowledge of programmable controls
