Job Summary
The Electrician A is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code. Key duties include inspecting and testing electrical components, troubleshooting production equipment, running computer cables, and diagnosing faulty mechanical and electronic components. A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with four years of electrical experience and a strong understanding of electrical codes, is required. Strong skills in reading blueprints and technical manuals are also necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes
- May be required to hold an electrician’s license
