Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, motors, transformers, control panels, and wiring for production equipment like presses and conveyors. Troubleshoot malfunctions, perform emergency repairs, and install conduit and electrical infrastructure. Maintain plant lighting, paging systems, and forklifts while monitoring workplace safety and complying with all standards. Manage electrical parts inventory and report material needs. Work independently with minimal supervision, performing tasks inside and outside the facility including ladder climbing and handling heavy tools. Full-time 2nd shift position with a 7% shift premium, offering competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, controls, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, and production equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to handle heavy tools
- Must be able to perform occasional lifting and equipment movement
