Job Summary
Conduct electrical and instrumentation installations, including hazardous area work, testing, and commissioning across agricultural storage facilities. Install new equipment, motors, sensors, and switch rooms while ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and client specifications. Monitor work progress to identify safety hazards and address issues arising during the project. Perform on and off-site support for a remote project in Perth, WA, operating on a DIDO roster. Valid WA Electrical License and Hazardous Area Qualification required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Experience in Hazardous Areas is essential (if HA Electrician)
- Leadership abilities to manage a team of electricians or assistance
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with Supervisors, Contractors, and Team members
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the project
- Valid WA Electrical License
- Trade Certificate (Electrical)
- Hazardous Area Qualification (Nationally Recognised)
- White Card
- Driver's License
- Australian Working Rights
- Must be available for DIDO – 10/4 roster
- Must be able to work in a remote location (Perth, Western Australia)
- Must be able to work on-site and off-site support
- Must be able to work in a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking environment
