Job Summary
Electrical Works Controller to plan, coordinate and deliver electrical construction activities within the Decommissioning Alliance framework at Sellafield, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and alignment with project objectives. Key focus on coordinating complex construction tasks, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. Requires strong technical knowledge in a relevant construction or engineering discipline, experience in regulated environments, and understanding of CDM requirements. The role emphasizes collaboration, safety culture, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a challenging decommissioning context.
Required Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
- Experience in regulated environments
- Technical knowledge in construction/engineering
- Delivery and coordination of complex construction activities
- Safety culture and CDM knowledge
- Nuclear/defence/high-hazard sector experience
Desired Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health & safety qualification
- Experience in a highly regulated environment
- Demonstrable technical knowledge within a relevant construction or engineering discipline
- Experience in delivery, supervision, and coordination of complex construction activities
- Good understanding of safety culture, regulatory compliance, and CDM requirements
- Previous industrial experience in nuclear, defence, or similarly high-hazard sectors
- Strong coordination, safety and quality focus
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to operate on-site within decommissioning and construction programs
- Collaborative/team-oriented mindset and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
