Job Summary
Coordinate warehouse inventory and maintain the database while managing daily production and shipping plans. Direct forklift drivers to store goods, operate forklift trucks as needed, and manually handle, repack, or restack pallets. Confirm shipment availability by verifying records or conducting inventories, and identify slow-moving products for removal with approval. Document all activities and complete required forms. Requires a high school diploma, valid forklift license, and two years of warehouse experience. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license for forklift truck
- At least two years of work experience in a warehouse
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Ability to move around the warehouse
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory
