Job Summary
Electrical Trainee opportunity with Helix Electric focusing on assisting with assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities include preparing work areas, installing components, connecting wiring per code and job specs, operating tools (with required training/certification), reading blueprints/electrical drawings, verifying dimensions and clearances, and maintaining safety standards. The role emphasizes learning in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in wiring methods, and strong communication skills; physical work is a primary component with potential for overtime and night shifts. Required Qualifications
- Holding a Valid State Electrical Trainee Card
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
- Proficiency with NM (Romex) and/or MC wiring methods is a plus
- Able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime and night shifts as required
- Ability to wear PPE and work in varying field conditions
