Required Qualifications
- Enrollment at New Castle County Vo-Tech School District at time of assignment
- High school student enrolled in Electrical Trades program
- Mechanical aptitude in dealing with wrenches, hammers, and other similar tools
- Good mathematical skills and strong attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work well and receive feedback from others
Desired Qualifications
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Good adhering to strict safety guidelines and conscious of safety risks
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques to solve equipment issues
- Ability to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals and blueprints
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
