Job Summary
Carry out all types of electrical work, including EICRs, rewires, upgrades, remedial repairs, and installations in line with current legislation. Support associated trades such as plastering, plumbing, and joinery to contribute to a 'one job one visit' approach. Plan and organize work effectively, operating within scheduled appointment systems while liaising with customers and colleagues. Supervise apprentices and trainees as required, undertaking diagnostic and pre-measuring work to scope tasks accurately. Use IT systems to receive instructions, update job information, and order materials. Make informed decisions regarding repair requirements, communicating clearly with customers when follow-up work is needed. Complete all documentation accurately, including electrical test certificates, and contribute to ongoing competency and development programmes. Drive company vehicles safely and maintain stock, tools, and equipment to required standards. Manage materials effectively, minimizing waste and ensuring appropriate specifications are used. Collaborate with Schedulers, Planners, CLOs, and other teams to ensure coordinated service delivery. Uphold high standards of customer care, safety, quality, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Time-served apprenticeship
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation, including 18th Edition
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
- Full UK driving licence
Desired Qualifications
- CSCS card at the appropriate level
