Job Summary
Manage laboratory equipment for maintenance standards and analyze test results against specifications to streamline processes. Perform over-the-product testing during production and after completion, including power transformer, cable CT, VT, and CB tests. Manage protection and control relays for HV & EHV substations, including distance, differential, and simple protection schemes, while overseeing schematic management. Prepare work instructions and validation protocols, coordinate with procurement for required tools, and improve data-driven statistical analysis. Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards while communicating with product development teams and providing direction to staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as Testing Engineer in the industry for construction
- Experience in protection and control relays of electrical substations
- Experience in Primary & Secondary Injection Testing and Control & Relay Panels Testing
- Strong experience of relay protection schemes, transformers, circuit breakers, and cables
- Experience in electrical HV & EHV substations protection
- Experience in power equipment's test
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in the English language
