Electrical Tester I (5:00am-1:30pm) at G&W Electric involves performing repetitive electrical testing preparation and testing tasks of basic complexity. Responsibilities include visually inspecting product prior to testing for conformance to standards, inspecting testing equipment and the test booth for proper operation, preparing product for test by safely connecting required test leads, separating non-conforming parts, documenting actions on production and quality forms, maintaining a safe and clean environment, using resources efficiently, and assisting with training others in testing tasks as needed. The role requires reading drawings and Bills of Material, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow verbal instructions in English. Physical demands include medium-heavy activity with lifting up to 75 pounds, standing and moving continuously, frequent bending and squatting, and two-person tasks using assistive devices.
