Job Summary
Electrical Test Engineer role focused on wafer electrical test (WET) for Fab25 products at SkyWater in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include owning WET issues and resolutions, root-cause analysis using statistical methods and electrical analysis, tracking shifts in WET parameters, collaborating with Fab process and other product engineers to improve SORT yield, conducting electrical failure analysis with bench testers, submitting failure analysis jobs, and overseeing wafer-level reliability (WLR) investigations and deployment. Key skills include data analysis/mining, statistical process control (Cp/CpK), electrical testing and tester knowledge, physical/electrical failure analysis, risk management, understanding device physics and transistor fundamentals, WET/WLR experience, and familiarity with fab processes and reliability concepts. Required qualifications specify a STEM BS with 5+ years, MS with 3+ years, or PhD with 0-1 years, and demonstrated technical expertise in product performance, data analysis, and testing characterization.
Required Qualifications
- A STEM related BS degree plus 5 years related experience
- MS degree plus 3 years related experience
- PhD degree with 0-1 years related experience
- Requires demonstrated technical knowledge for device physics and transistor fundamentals
- Demonstrated technical expertise in product, performance, data analysis, and testing characterization, with the ability to organize and lead projects
- Experience with testers and electrical testing methodologies
- Experience with WET and/or WLR
- WET tester/probecard operation
- Reliability physics
- Wafer level test program, conditions and capabilities
- Fab process technology and flow
