Job Summary
Electrical Technician responsible for evaluating, wiring, testing, and maintaining electrical systems on aerial lifts installed on truck bodies; duties include assembling and fabricating parts, interpreting circuit diagrams and schematics, troubleshooting, repairing malfunctioning equipment, providing replacement parts, and ensuring safety compliance in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities emphasize reading blueprints, wiring and power distribution knowledge, use of hand tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment, and collaboration within a team to repair and maintain equipment. Qualifications include basic knowledge of industrial wiring and automotive electrical systems, ability to lift 50 pounds, and preferred two-year electrical/technical degree with forklift certification; strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year Electrical, Technical, or related degree preferred
- Forklift Operator certification will be required
- Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift and manipulate 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and odors
