Job Summary
Electrical Technician role requiring 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience, performing electrical, communications, and electronic activities on facilities maintenance and capital improvement projects under supervision. Responsibilities include direct supervision of helpers/apprentice electricians, applying electrical/construction principles, maintaining project schedules, reporting to foreman/superintendent, enforcing safety regulations, inspecting for code compliance, keeping the job site organized, troubleshooting electrical systems (services, feeders, branch circuits), installing conduit and control/distribution equipment, connecting power cables, and repairing equipment. Ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem solving, and critical thinking, with willingness to develop electrical skills and participate in professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years' experience in industrial electrical industry
- Valid state drivers license
- PPE/Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment
- Ability to supervise/apprentice electricians
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA)
- Experience with hand-tools and power-tools
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams/blueprints
