Job Summary
Electrical Technician supporting Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) responsible for maintaining electrical services across the hospital estate to high safety and performance standards, performing reactive repairs, fault finding, servicing, commissioning, and delivering planned preventative maintenance; work involves following permits/policies, communicating with hospital staff, and ensuring service availability, with DBS checks and healthcare-estate context; role offers day and shift work with a rotating 6-week pattern and additional shift payments.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent structured training programme
- Relevant City and Guilds and or BTEC electrical qualifications
- Proven experience working in a similar environment, ideally within large or complex buildings
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical building services
- Vetting and checks: A Standard DBS check will be carried out; Occupational Health Questionnaire may be completed
