Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control systems for production, shop, and extrusion machinery. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to mount electrical components, wire machine control cabinets, and resolve electrical issues promptly. Analyze root causes of problems, determine preventative solutions, and participate in designing integrations for production needs. Meet and support production requirements through technical solutions while utilizing creative thinking to keep internal systems at the cutting edge of control and computer technology.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience in Electrical Technology field
- Proficient with electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Proficient with electrical wiring
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in wiring protocols
- Experience with programming of variable frequency drives and servo amplifiers
- Ability to analyze problems, assess multiple options and provide clear recommendations
- Ability to interact with company personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
