Job Summary
Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and test systems. Supports the creation of technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics. Communicates professionally with customers to discuss options and estimates, providing excellent technical customer service. Operates bench drills or other machine tools, ensures proper functioning of equipment, and may assemble experimental circuitry as per engineering instructions. Responsible for setting up tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of electronics principles and theories
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic components
- Ability to analyze and interpret test data
- Proficiency in technical report creation and documentation
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction
