Job Summary
This Electrical Technician position requires expertise in troubleshooting automated machinery in a manufacturing environment, where you'll utilize advanced knowledge of PLCs and electrical processes to enhance system efficiencies and safety.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years’ experience with PLC hardware & programming software
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting VFDs
- Experience with 6-axis articulating robots
- Knowledge of electrical processes and procedures
- Knowledge of motor controls, wiring diagrams, and related test equipment
- Knowledge of PLC programs and operator interface units
- Working knowledge of forging presses, manipulators, drilling machines, milling machines, and heat-treating equipment
- Knowledge of serial and Ethernet data communication protocols
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Team-oriented
