Job Summary
Work from complex blueprints, drawings, schematics, and service manuals to respond to electrical problems of various complexities and voltages. Make repairs, use test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes, and perform preventive maintenance as directed. Assist contractors on new or remodeling installations, identify spare parts, and take meter readings for kilowatt hours. Improve processes with fellow employees and instruct one or two staff members on proper duty performance. This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm in Windsor Locks, CT.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- E1 or E2 Electrical License or Massachusetts equivalent
- Completion of trades training in electricity
- Experience working with PLC logic
- Experience working with VFD logic
- Experience working with Fire Alarm systems
