Job Summary
Electrical Technician II responsible for intermediate-level maintenance on facility electrical systems, diagnosing and repairing equipment from 120V to 480V AC, PLCs/ladder logic, and VFDs; read blueprints/schematics, perform preventive maintenance in CMMS, assist site engineering, ensure compliance with NFPA70e and safety standards, and support energy efficiency and customer service across data center, industrial, hospital, and manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
- 3–4 years’ experience as an electrician in a data center, industrial environment, hospital, manufacturing facility or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher
- Must be self-motivated with strong organizational/time management skills
- Pre-employment background check and substance abuse test
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (may be required)
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varied shifts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, and sequence of operations
- Familiarity with NFPA70e and electrical codes
