Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution and control systems at an intermediate expertise level. Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and control circuits up to 480V AC. Operate diagnostic instruments and tools, provide assistance to technicians, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills and capable of working in a regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 4 years’ experience as an electrician in a data center, industrial environment, hospital, or manufacturing facility
- Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher
- Strong organizational/time management skills
- Ability to adhere to Federal, State and Local electrical codes
- Familiarity with NFPA70e
Additional Requirements
- Qualified applicants must pass a pre-employment background check and substance abuse test
- This position may require a valid Driver’s license
- This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules
