Job Summary
Electrical Technician I role focused on understanding project scope and performing EV charger installation, commissioning, and electrical infrastructure work. Responsibilities include developing installation plans, verifying material requirements, on-site field installation in compliance with safety standards, providing timely project information to Lead Tech/Supervisor, assisting with project resources, and handling all aspects of EV service (installation, replacement, troubleshooting, circuits). Requires clear communication, safety adherence, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Travel up to 80% to regional projects and other states, including overnight stays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; advancing toward journeyman license expected; valid driver’s license required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors, and wear PPE as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years or more of commercial and residential electrical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- State Electrical Apprentice preferred
- Be able to get a journeyman license after working required hours
- Adhere to safety policy as well as rules and regulations
- Maintain active driver’s license with a clean record and have reliable transportation to report to various job locations
