Job Summary
Assemble electrical enclosures, busbars, wiring harnesses, and related electrical equipment. Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation. Perform torque tightening, cable routing, connector installation, labeling, and related assembly tasks. Handle and install heavy and sensitive power electronics modules safely and accurately. Conduct basic continuity, insulation resistance, and final product checks using multimeters and other test equipment. Use measuring and testing equipment to inspect and test final products according to test procedures. Follow high-voltage safety, PPE, lockout/tagout, and other applicable workplace safety procedures. Report non-conformities and work closely with QA, engineering, and production teams to support timely resolution. Maintain clean, organized workstations and comply with all company safety rules and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in electrical assembly, power electronics, switchgear, industrial panels, or related manufacturing work
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, work instructions, and wiring standards
- Ability to use basic measuring and testing equipment to inspect and test final products according to test procedures
- Basic knowledge of high-voltage safety procedures, PPE requirements, and proper tool usage
- Ability to safely lift and work with heavy electrical or mechanical components
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly documentation accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
