Job Summary

Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and electronic systems, installing 480, 240, and 120 AC systems while interpreting schematics and P&IDs. Perform repairs on process controls, disassemble equipment to replace faulty components, and fabricate replacement parts. Service lift trucks and other powered carts, contributing to job plans, preventative maintenance procedures, and root cause analysis. Work weekends and holidays as requested on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule. Requires full working set of essential electrician tools, two years of journey-level experience, and a valid driver's license.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least two years' experience as a qualified journey-level Electrical Technician
  • Technical Degree or Journey-level Certificate in the area of expertise from an accredited college or technical program
  • Working knowledge of computers
  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to electronic formulas
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as determination of test reliability and validity and electronic theory
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum
  • Must have full working set of essential electrician tools
  • Eligible candidate must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum
