Job Summary
Electrical Technician with harness fabrication and assembly for aerospace platforms. Build, route, and install electrical harnesses, ensuring proper terminations, crimping, and soldering according to aerospace standards. Assist in wiring and integration of components, read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, perform continuity and insulation resistance testing, and ensure quality and compliance. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support system integration and problem-solving in a high-tech, aerospace-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in electrical harness assembly, wiring, or related field
- Proficiency in crimping, soldering, and connector assembly
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of cable routing, strain relief, and aerospace/automotive wiring standards
- Hands-on experience using tools such as wire strippers, heat shrink tubing, and torque wrenches
