Job Summary
The Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and pipeline and terminal facilities. Key duties include performing routine operations and maintenance, compliance with regulatory policies, and management of outside contractors. The role demands a strong understanding of current technology, documentation of work performed, and effective communication skills. A two-year associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, along with relevant industry experience, is required.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, or mechanical) or equivalent combination of education/work experience
- Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience installing or troubleshooting PLC’s(B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley)
- Experience in Measurement of Liquids or Gas
Additional Requirements
- Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location
