Job Summary
Assemble industrial control panels and small mechanical assemblies under the direction of the lead technician, engineer, or manager. Organize work efficiently, maintain a neat workspace, and keep accurate time records for project charging. Adhere to process controls, quality standards, and all safety regulations while taking ownership of project completion. Perform general building maintenance and assist with field installations at customer locations as needed. This permanent on-site role in Longview, Texas requires occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds and the ability to work independently or in a group setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Instrumentation controls and 24V low voltage experience
- Good Math Skills
- Ability to read and understand assembly details
- Ability to perform fabrication/assembly duties on various projects
- Ability to read a measuring tape
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and their proper use
- Ability to work independently or in a group setting
- Self-motivation with good attention to detail
- Have basic computer skills
- Willingness to be trained
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork
- *Must be able to occasionally lifts items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Be required to work at customer site
