Job Summary
Conduct DC trench, feeder, and MV cable installations while executing conduit, fiber, and inverter termination tasks. Perform wire management, labeling, and splice work alongside SCADA and combiner box assembly. Execute LOTO procedures, IR scanning, and survey/as-built documentation. Manage heavy materials up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical actions including stooping, bending, and reaching. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold, while navigating construction hazards like loud noises and debris. Maintain strong teamwork skills to follow precise instructions and receive feedback from supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50+ pound materials, maneuvering them into their proper places
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
- This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
- GED or equivalent education preferred
