Job Summary
Conduct DC trenching, feeder and MV cable installation, conduit work, fiber termination, and SCADA equipment setup. Execute transformer and sectionalizer MV termination, DC splicing, and riser termination while managing wire installation, labeling, and module placement. Perform IR scanning, surveying, and as-built documentation alongside LOTO procedures. Work outdoors in all weather conditions including rain, snow, and extreme heat, lifting 50+ pound materials and performing repetitive physical tasks. Requires strong teamwork skills and ability to work in noisy, dusty construction environments with exposure to debris.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50+ pound materials, maneuvering them into their proper places
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
- GED or equivalent education preferred
