Job Summary
Conduct DC trenching, feeder and MV cable installation, and conduit work for solar projects. Execute fiber termination, inverter DC termination, transformer sectionalizer MV termination, and SCADA equipment installation. Perform DC and MV splicing, riser termination, and combiner box installation while managing wire routing, labeling, and LOTO procedures. Utilize IR scanning and survey/as-built documentation. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold, while lifting 50+ pound materials and performing repetitive physical tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50+ pound materials, maneuvering them into their proper places
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
- GED or equivalent education preferred
