Job Summary
Install DC trenching, feeder, and MV cable systems, including conduit, riser termination, splices, and fiber work. Execute SCADA equipment, combiner box, and module installations while managing wire routing, labeling, and survey-to-as-built documentation. Perform inverter DC termination and transformer sectionalizer MV termination under precise supervision. Operate in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow, while adhering to LOTO protocols and safety standards. Lift 50+ pound materials and perform repetitive tasks such as stooping, bending, and pushing. Work outdoors in environments with potential exposure to loud noises, dust, and debris.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50+ pound materials, maneuvering them into their proper places
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
Desired Qualifications
- GED or equivalent education preferred
- Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
