Job Summary
Conduct DC trenching, MV cable installation, fiber termination, and SCADA equipment setup while managing wire labeling, conduit work, and module installation. Perform DC and MV splices, riser terminations, and inverter DC termination alongside combiner box installation and fiber termination. Execute IR scanning, survey/as-built documentation, and LOTO procedures while lifting 50+ pound materials and maneuvering them into place. Work outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, and cold, adhering to safety protocols regarding loud noises, dust, and debris. Maintain precise instruction following and teamwork skills within solar construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50+ pound materials, maneuvering them into their proper places
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
- GED or equivalent education preferred
