Electrical Technician

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems and utilities, including performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution systems, lighting, HVAC controls, motors, compressors, generators, and other equipment. Run conduit, pull wiring to machinery and motors, and install or rebuild pumps, motors, air compressors, heat exchangers, piping, valves, filters, and hot water systems. Replace bearings on motors and seals on pumps, while assisting with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment. Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials, and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
