Job Summary

Electrical Technician to support autonomy vehicle integrations for military/industrial platforms in Sterling Heights, MI. Collaborates with electrical engineers to design, integrate, fabricate, and install primary and secondary vehicle electrical and electronic systems, including wiring harnesses, power distribution, GPS antennas, radios, and HVAC/communication subsystems. Fabricates cables, harnesses, switches, relays, and control devices; applies mil-spec IPC standards to produce compliant cable assemblies; tests systems per drawings and test plans. Requires ability to stand all day, lift 45 lbs, willingness to travel 25% (CONUS/OCONUS), and ability to obtain a Government Secret Clearance. EEO statements and pay considerations are noted. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 5 years of experience in the fabrication of MIL-SPEC wiring harnesses or cable assemblies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance
  • Willingness to travel CONUS or OCONUS 25% annually
  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
  • IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
