Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and electromechanical issues on production equipment and facility systems ranging from 24V to 480V. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime while installing, replacing, and maintaining components such as motors, sensors, VFDs, contactors, breakers, and control panels. Read schematics and wiring diagrams to inspect equipment for potential failures, document all maintenance activities, and communicate status to Production and Management. Support equipment installation, startup, and production changeovers while adhering to safety procedures including LOTO. This role operates within Polymaker's 40,000 SF facility in Missouri City, TX, managing production and distribution of 3D printing filament for North America.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or refinery facility
- Willingness to learn and teach others
- Willingness to learn and adopt core values of the company
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching are normal expected movements during a shift
- 0% travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience maintaining plastic extrusion equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systems
- Ability to operate forklifts and/or overhead lifting devices
- Multilingual (Mandarin Chinese)
