Job Summary
Provide engineering oversight and technical support to a team of craft technicians to deliver plant repairs and troubleshoot breakdown defects. Support plant-facing work from a front-line, hands-on standpoint while ensuring all activities comply with site licence requirements, statutory regulations, and safety rules. Offer technical advice to the Care and Maintenance team, manage maintenance delivery work, and collaborate with commissioning teams and designers to ensure the plant meets operational requirements. Proactively use OPEX to promote learning and ensure robust corrective actions prevent reoccurrence. Maintain knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Have an Electrical Engineering background
- Engineering based qualification at HNC level or equivalent as a minimum
- Experience of working in a team to deliver exceptional performance within company processes
- Industrial and operational engineering experience with a strong safety bias
- Experience as an engineer with a drive to identify and resolving issues with a focus on safety, quality, time and cost
- Experience of working within highly regulated requirements
- To meet the criteria for Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last 3 years
