Job Summary
The Electrical Systems Technician II is responsible for the installation, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems in county buildings, including jail facilities. Duties include performing maintenance on control systems, heating and air conditioning systems, and plumbing, as well as managing the work of the Electrical Systems Technician I. This role requires troubleshooting and repairing various systems including high voltage switch gear, access-control systems, and fire alarms. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least five years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least five years of building maintenance experience
- Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment
- Knowledge of access control systems, video surveillance systems, fire alarms, and paging systems
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
- Must pass a criminal background check
