Electrical & Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Design and develop electrical systems for premium watersports boats, creating innovative solutions that improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Release production-ready components using SolidWorks while building, testing, and validating prototypes to support on-water product testing. Develop wiring harnesses, power distribution, lighting, pumps, sensors, actuators, and electronic controls, collaborating closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and suppliers to bring new products from concept through production. Troubleshoot production and field issues while implementing long-term engineering solutions and ensuring compliance with ABYC, USCG, and other applicable marine standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and engineering documentation.
- Working knowledge of 12V/24V DC electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated with a passion for designing exceptional products.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the marine, automotive, powersports, RV, or heavy equipment industries.
- Knowledge of CAN Bus, multiplex systems, embedded electronics, or marine electrical standards.
- Experience with prototype development, product validation, and testing.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink or similar experience a plus
